OUR COVID-19 OPERATING STANDARDS ARE:
• FOLLOWING VALETING, STEERING WHEEL & GEAR LEVER TO BE WIPED & PROTECTIVE COVERS APPLIED, INCLUDING DRIVER SEAT & FOOTWELL.
• DELIVERY DRIVER TO CALL CUSTOMER PRIOR TO DEPARTURE:
o Ask customer to ‘confirm customer & household residents do not have COVID 19 symptoms, or are self-isolating’ (if yes, postpone delivery).
o Provide ETA.
• DRIVER TO WEAR SAFETY GLOVES, MASK & GOGGLES AT ALL TIMES.
• DRIVER CALLS CUSTOMER TO ANNOUNCE ARRIVAL:
o Explains they ‘will be observing social distancing rules & using PPE, along with protective covers &
the sanitization of their vehicle’.
o Requests that the customer ‘respect social distancing rules’, or ask if they ‘would prefer to remain
inside their premises’, during the delivery process.
• CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION VALIDATED (2m BARRIER).
• CONFIRM WHERE THEY WOULD LIKE THE VEHICLE PARKING:
o Explain that vehicle needs to remain stationary & untouched for 3-hours.
• BASIC EXPLANATION OF VEHICLE FUNCTIONS GIVEN TO THE CUSTOMER, WITHIN LIMITS OF SOCIAL DISTANCING.
• PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO BE REMOVED FROM STEERING WHEEL, & GEAR LEVER, SEAT & FOOTWELL & OTHER CONTROL AREAS DISINFECTED IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER, ALONG WITH DOOR HANDLES & KEYS.
• KEYS TO BE PLACED IN A SANITIZED PLASTIC DOCUMENT WALLET, WITH SAFETY GLOVES PROVIDED, & EXCHANGE CONDUCTED OBSERVING SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES.
a) PAPERWORK FOR SIGNATURE TO BE PLACED IN A SANITIZED PLASTIC DOCUMENT WALLET (ALONG WITH KEYS), WITH SAFETY GLOVES & DISPOSABLE PEN PROVIDED, & EXCHANGE CONDUCTED OBSERVING SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES.
b) SHOULD THE CUSTOMER BE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE ABOVE:
o Driver explains/obtains agreement to sign on the customer’s behalf.
o Driver takes pictures of the customer & vehicle at the delivery address & its mileage.
c) SHOULD b) BE UNACCEPTABLE TO THE FUNDER, PHOTOS ARE TO BE TAKEN & A DELIVERY NOTE E-MAILED
TO THE CUSTOMER FOR SIGNATURE & RETURN.
